You might remember the one day $1m trade John Kerry made when in Congress. He came out and got on his sell phone to his broker and told them to buy shares of a company they just inked a deal with. The next day the deal was announced and he sold the shares for a $1m profit. Problem was, the press heard him making the call and put it in the news.
