Flexpoint Receives Additional Orders from Bridgepoint and Intertek

DRAPER, Utah , Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) today announced that it has received follow-up orders from long standing clients Bridgepoint and Intertek. The orders will be completed and shipped before the close of the year. In addition to its order, Bridgepoint is promoting Flexpoint to Premier Vendor status, which will cement the relationship between the two companies for years to come. As a Premier Vendor, Flexpoint will also be eligible to expand the number of products it sells to Bridgepoint. Bridgepoint has been a leading provider of solutions and supplies used for cleaning, deodorization, surface protection, and restoration chemicals for 30 years. The company is based in Salt Lake City , and has a nationwide distribution network. They use the Bend Sensor® in an air-flow monitoring device for a commercial floor dryer. Intertek has placed an order for more seat sensors, which are used in its patented Protek Passenger Awareness system. Intertek and its award winning ambulance system, which utilizes Flexpoint's sensors as an essential element, will be profiled in the December 2012 issue of World Business Magazine. In response to the rise in injuries and fatalities that result from emergency vehicle crashes, national legislation has been proposed that would mandate inclusion of a system similar to Intertek's in all ambulances. The legislation could go into effect as early as 2013. This article is expected to bring considerable exposure to the system and provide momentum for the product.
