Paradise Ridge Announces Joint Venture

Paradise Ridge Hydrocarbons, Inc. (OTC: PRGE) announced today that Far East Ventures Holdings Ltd ("FEV", a South East Asian investment holding company with which the company is in the process of completing a merger, has entered into a joint venture arrangement with a major Philippine industrial and mining group to supply and distribute cement and building products throughout Philippines and Northern Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. The joint venture includes the acquisition of a 1mm tonne p.a. cement plant in Cebu Philippines, which will be used initially to grind and process clinker (raw cement) imported from Asian suppliers such as China and Vietnam. Finished product will be shipped to the Northern Sulawesi Province in Indonesia where it will be packaged and distributed as a local product.

(OTC: PRGE) today announced that the proposed acquisition of Far East Ventures Holdings, Ltd, a Hong Kong based company with an investment platform comprising high growth investments in South East Asia, is progressing well and major conditions precedent to closing have been satisfied. Final closing of the acquisition is expected by the end of April, at which time the name of the Company will be changed to Far East Ventures Holdings, Ltd. along with application for a new ticker symbol.

Having previously operated in energy sector, Paradise Ridge is now shifting direction to focus on the development of a vineyard in the fast growing Texas hill country wine region. Paradise Ridge will phase out its energy operations over the coming months, opting instead to dive into full time vineyard operations including growing and harvesting grape varietals, eventually producing proprietary blends of both red and white wines featuring Texas grown grapes.
