Chesapeake Granite Wash Trust (NYSE:CHKR) (the "Trust" today announced that as of June 30, 2016, Chesapeake had fulfilled its drilling obligation under the development agreement. On June 30, 2017, the subordinated units will automatically convert into common units on a one-for-one basis. After such time and subsequent to the distribution for the 2017 second quarter, the common units will no longer have the protection of the subordination threshold, and all trust unitholders will share on a pro rata basis in the trust's distributions.
