Consider a harsh environment...
You have about 3 hours with no shelter, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food...as a relative healthy adult...down grade with youth/age and health...
In a disaster EMS will be at full capacity within hours... 911 X 100. Considering we have millions in the US that will call EMS for a Band-aid...you'll be on your own.
Considering now that you have made it through the 1st 30 days. Relief efforts would start and could take another 30-120 days for basic's...water food, medical as supplies, manpower and access is available. If you have prepared this is where it get dangerous....in many different forms.
Some estimates say 90% population lose in the 1st 90 days. I am more in the 50% range for the US. Governments ability to respond will determine if that number is good or not.
