Epicore BioNetworks Inc. Reports Results for Quarter One Fiscal Year 2016
GlobeNewswire - Thu Nov 19, 3:35PM CST
Revenue for Q1 at $2.1 million was 12% lower than last year's Q1 and ended our string of consecutive quarterly records. Sales increases were achieved in some areas but declines outnumbered gains. Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS) continues to afflict several shrimp producing regions, especially in Southeast Asia where Epicore sales have been affected. Regions free of EMS increased shrimp production in our fiscal 2015. This increase in the worldwide supply of shrimp has caused shrimp prices to fall from record 2014 levels back to the more normal 2013 prices. While prices have stabilized and even increased slightly, producers are afraid of further erosion. This concern and the fear of EMS have made producers highly cautious, producing a curtailment in shrimp stocking and therefore a decreased demand for Epicore products in quarter one. Net income decreased by 42% to deliver earnings per share of $0.01.

Epicore BioNetworks Inc. Reports Results for Fiscal Year 2015
GlobeNewswire - Mon Oct 19, 7:25AM CDT
Fiscal 2015 was another strong year for Epicore (TSX-V:EBN). Sales records were set in every quarter and net income (without exceptional adjustments) broke the million dollar mark for the second time. Epicore's productivity enhancing products were in high demand as shrimp producers readily accepted new tools and techniques to fight the effects of a deadly disease. Our marketing program increased usage of Epicore products in several new regions. Our ISO 9001:2008 quality system certification contributed to operational reliability and provided the foundation for our achievement of Global GAP certification. Net income increased by 6% and delivered earnings per share of $0.05.

Epicore BioNetworks Inc. Reports Record Results for Quarter Three Fiscal Year 2015 for the Quarter Ended 31 March 2015 in US dollars
GlobeNewswire - Wed May 06, 3:30PM CDT
Revenue for Q3 at $2.6 million was 18% higher than last year's Q3 and set a new company Q3 record. This record follows seven previous consecutive quarterly records. Sales were broad based with Latin America significantly ahead of prior year. High demand for Epicore products comes from producers trying to capitalize on high shrimp prices and on our successful marketing programs. Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS) in Asia and Mexico has reduced the worldwide supply of shrimp, which in turn pushed shrimp prices to record levels in 2014. Following a weak holiday season for shrimp consumption prices have fallen 35% from an early 2014 high. Net income decreased by 28% but still delivered earnings per share of $0.012. Demand for Epicore products remains strong.
