agreed. iHub is a mess and not that interesting to follow...for now. My understanding from Garrett is as follows:
1) Yes, this is the rainy season. However, weren't in operations mode, so, the weather is not impacting our operations. We were renting out our equipment and our labors were working with the companies we rented the equipment out to. We have a geologist on staff that has identified a location for us to start operations and we have been in the claim negotiation phase with the govt. Once that is done, then, operations will commence.
2) Our main source of revenue over the past two years has been import/export of diamonds. This started out slow but has been gaining in momentum. Given that it is now rainy season, there is lot's of haggling over recovered diamonds. I suspect that we have not had a follow on shipment in Q2 as it requires capital to acquire the diamonds and we have tied up a lot of that capital to secure the license. I suspect we will hear news once the license is secured and we have resumed diamond shipments for Q3 (in the coming weeks.) Again, they can't PR the shipment until it is safely in our buyers hands for security purposes. I would not be surprised if there was a shipment in route and a PR to follow in a few weeks. Of course, this is pure speculation based on my knowledge of Dredge and Garrett and not based on any facts on the ground (other than I was told that our buyer was in SL last week).
3) Sunergy is no longer operating on borrowed money and no longer needs to keep the share price pumped to increase cash on hand. We know this from the last 8K when all warrants and short term debt were closed. As such, we won't see any PRs or additional 8Ks until there is something worth while to share. I would expect Garrett to stockpile news bits until he is ready to announce our diamond production is on line and producing xx carats per month. That way, there will be no hectoring of our assetts in SL or our contacts in the govt. Mr. Bonehead (i.e. risk) really derailed our efforts in SL the last time he poked his nose in the operations. In this delicate stage, we don't need any detractors snooping around. Again, this is all my opinion and not based on any knowledge of non-public facts on the ground.
4) I completely agree. This company is now solvent and cash flow positive with no need for external financial support. I predict that we will be singing a different tune by year's end. With that in mind, I have been adding whenever I have funds available. I am not a big share holder, but, I wouldn't mind securing another few million before news begins to break.
