ERJ ALERT: Rosen Law Firm Reminds Embraer S.A. Investors of Important October 7 Deadline in Class Action

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of Embraer S.A. securities (NYSE: ERJ ) from April 16, 2012 through July 28, 2016, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”) of the important October 7, 2016 lead plaintiff deadline in the class action. The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for Embraer investors under the federal securities laws.

To join the Embraer class action, go to the firm’s website at http://rosenlegal.com/cases-929.html or call Phillip Kim, Esq. or Kevin Chan, Esq. toll free at 866-767-3653 or email pkim@rosenlegal.com or kchan@rosenlegal.com for more information on the class action.

According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period defendants issued false and misleading statements to investors and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Embraer had paid bribes to officials in the Dominican Republic to secure contracts for the sale of aircraft; (2) Embraer’s President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), Defendant Frederico Pinheiro Fleury Curado (“Curado”) was aware of the bribery scheme; (3) the foreseeable consequences of the bribery scheme would cost Embraer hundreds of millions of dollars; and (4) as a result, defendants’ statements about Embraer’s business, operations, and prospects were false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than October 7, 2016. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
