Ah yes, the PTOI lossy mattress! I almost forgot.
Post# of 43064
With PTOI at $0.033 (sorry, I see it was $0.046 earlier but it's $0.033 now), today's hypothetical value of:
$10,000 invested in PTOI on Dec 16th, 2014......$4,765.
$10,000 stuffed into a mattress on Dec 16th, 2014 and losing $20/trading day......$1,200.
Either way, my lossy mattress investment is wildly under-performing.
- Thank you for pointing out my narcissism as I brag about my clairvoyant skills (other than my mattress)...but in my defense I've been fairly accurate. I can tell you that the current MOU just announced by PTOI won't work out. No charge for that piece of information.
- I do agree that licensing would take less capital than selling a processor...but why did Mr. Heddle pursue sales for three years instead?? What's even easier than licensing with even lower risk since no partner needs to be found...is actually running the processors at the plant to show the world that PTOI's version of melting plastic is worthwhile...while actually raking in all of that cash from selling the valuable fuel the processors supposedly produce.
"Converting Waste Plastic to Ultra-Clean, Ultra-Low Sulphur Fuel"
- Yes...but since waste plastic is a kind of low-sulfur fuel already and "ultra-clean" is subjective, a shovel can do the same thing...no melting required. The question is: For what purpose is this fuel ready to use? Not diesel since unsorted plastic has other elements. What exactly goes into the processor (cost/type) and what type of fuel, exactly, comes out??
"That bet (buying at $0.035) is currently worth $12,857.13 - a 28% return in 6 months, had you taken my advice back then."
- I actually said PTOI would probably pump the stock higher when it was at $0.028 before you said $0.035. I've never doubted PTOI's ability to pump their stock. However at this time, only around that $13k was traded in total since the 'update' and it looks like only a few hundred dollars smacked it back down to $0.033. I don't know if that would have been a great buy.
