I completely agree about it being a leap of faith

I did this with the company llong before SMS and before the energy shot. Only had a couple locations in my territory. Story was usually very similar - sells well when they could get the product. Of course, at that time I wasnt aware of production issues with PLN. When I spoke to the distributor that supplied two of the stores - similar story - product is on backorder.
The SMS model really helps placement and driving sales as it one person driving the brand at a small retail location instead of having a sales guy from a large distributor with several hundred to a thousand SKUs trying to push a product with no brand history and needing to babysit it until it is self sustaining. Those guys all work on commisson and they focus their time generally on proven sellers or emerging brands with deep pockets that provide a lot of SPIFFS. $HJOE doesnt have the deep pockets yet.
So digging in and understanding the brand, the products, the SMS model, how dealers got involved, and putting all of that is into context with the PLNs, the toxic debt, etc provides me a lot of "security" to take that leap of faith. It IS very difficult without the linger term perspective and in the OTC world - it all sounds like the same drivel.
Finally - consider inside ownership/compensation. Vast majority of it was deferred salaries and no interest loans. Not exactly the way to scam the public if you are trhing to get rich as an insider. Again, compare that to the insider compensation at TBEV. The founder "awarded" himself 100MM shares after the last split for developing the new flavor. Does that sound like a good use of shareholder shares...? Show me ang instance of that innpast filings from HJOE. CLosest rag on them were the anti dilutive measures on AS increase to retain control of the company when the loans became toxic and they were put on the defensive.
Like any stock in this realm - very high risk for high reward. Are there better risk/reward scenarios out there right now? Maybe. Several of us are also invested in $TPAC that has similar prospects but you cant touch those products. I am always interested in solid potential if others have them.
