The number of stray dogs in Costa Rica, like in many other countries, is countless, according to an estimate provided by the association Animal Rescue (Rescate Animal), in 2015 this number was close to 2 million… yes, you read right, in a country with a population of just under 5 million, there are an estimate 2 million dogs living in the streets.
