(Nasdaq:WAYN), the holding company parent of Wayne Savings Community Bank, reported net income of $440,000 or $0.16 per diluted share for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, compared to $670,000 or $0.24 per diluted share for the quarter ended March 31, 2014. The decrease in net income was primarily due to a decrease in net interest income and an increase in both the provision for loan losses and noninterest expense, partially offset by an increase in noninterest income and a decrease in the provision for federal income taxes.
