announced today that it has entered into agreements to acquire approximately 7,384 acres of farmland in Colorado for approximately $4.9 million in cash and 125,677 common units of limited partnership interest in the Company's operating partnership ("OP Units". Subject to closing, the OP Units to be issued will be valued at $12.93 per unit, resulting in a total consideration of approximately $6.5 million.

Gladstone Land Corporation (NASDAQ:LAND) (the "Company" today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell 1,000,000 shares of its newly-designated 6.375% Series A Cumulative Term Preferred Stock (the "Series A Term Preferred Stock" at an offering price of $25.00 per share, raising $25 million in gross proceeds and approximately $24.1 million in net proceeds after payment of underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated expenses of the offering payable by the Company. The Company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 150,000 additional shares of Series A Term Preferred Stock on the same terms and conditions to cover over allotments, if any.
