Maxwell Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MXWL) today reported operational and financial results for the three months ended June 30, 2016. Total revenues for the second quarter of 2016 were $34.1 million, compared with $35.2 million for the first quarter of 2016 and $37.8 million for the prior year quarter. Net income for the second quarter of 2016 was $2.2 million, compared with a net loss of $6.8 million for the first quarter of 2016 and a net loss of $9.4 million for the prior year quarter. The Company reported $(0.7) million of adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Adjusted EBITDA) for the second quarter of 2016, compared with $(1.3) million for the first quarter of 2016 and $0.7 million for the prior year quarter.
