In connection with their previously announced business combination transaction, Avago Technologies Limited (NASDAQ:AVGO) and Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM) announced today that they have set the deadline for shareholders of Broadcom to make an election with respect to the form of consideration they wish to receive, subject to proration, to be 5:00 p.m., New York time, on January 25, 2016, which is based on the current expectation that the transaction will be completed on February 1, 2016.
