I lived in a town with a RC girls academy...it was a hoot!!
The RCC was deeply involved with trying to control everything to include the public school system/school board and city offices...
It isn't to say they don't do good...it's money and a control issue.
Separate of Church and State as far as I am concerned...they try very hard to stack the deck in their favor...yet they choose to be private.
We have enabled them since the 60's and they are locus when it comes to socialism and a socialist agenda
