Plumas Bancorp (NasdaqLBC), the parent company of Plumas Bank, today announced first quarter 2016 earnings of $1.6 million or $0.32 per share an increase of $358 thousand from $1.2 million or $0.25 per share during the first quarter of 2015. This $1.6 million represents the highest level of earnings, for any first quarter, in the history of Plumas Bancorp. Diluted earnings per share increased from $0.24 per share during the three months ended March 31, 2015 to $0.31 per share during the current three month period.

For the year ended December 31, 2015, Plumas Bancorp (the "Company" reported net income of $5.8 million an increase of $1.1 million or 23%, from $4.7 million during the twelve months ended December 31, 2014. Earnings per diluted share increased to $1.15 during the year ended December 31, 2015, up from $0.95 during 2014. Earnings for the three months ended December 31, 2015 totaled $1.6 million or $0.33 per diluted share, an increase of $304 thousand from $1.3 million or $0.27 per diluted share during the fourth quarter of 2014.
