Like most authoritarian nut jobs Trump doesn't understand the nature of protest, nor its protected status as enshrined in the First Amendment, which they honor only with empty lip service.
In other words, freedom of speech is supposed to be 'hard'.
Protecting speech/actions that we all agree with is...unnecessary.
