Cerro Grande Mining Corporation (the "Company" or "CEG"

(CSE-CEG) reported that its Pimenton Mine has been shut down due to a severe snow storm which brought 3.14 meters (10.35 feet) of snow on the second, third and fourth of June. The mine shut down and lack of access to the mine will also cause severe financial difficulties for Compania Minera Pimenton. The snow storm is the worst storm to hit the mine operations since 2005. The Company is currently reviewing its options.

issued a management cease trade order (the MCTO) on February 4, 2016 against CEG's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, as distinguished from a general cease trade order against the Company. The MCTO prohibits all trading in securities of the Company, whether directly or indirectly, by the Company's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer until two full business days following receipt by the OSC of the 2015 Disclosure Documents.
