Wayne Allyn Root: Obama and Hillary Have Created GDP: Gross Domestic Poverty
How predictable. The economy is falling apart and Hillary is screaming about racism again. She’s trying to change the subject because she has nothing to change the facts of the economy. She’s trying to brand Trump as “KKK.” Perfect timing.
My new book ANGRY WHITE MALE is out this week. It’s all about the fact that Obama and Hillary’s obsession with racial equality, social justice, fairness and diversity are destroying the U.S. economy – but not just for the white middle class or “angry white males.”
For everyone – black and white together in harmony and shared misery.
The debate is over. More proof came out today when our own Commerce Department downgraded the second quarter GDP from a horrendous 1.2% growth to a depressing and tragic 1.1%. Our economy is wrecked and dysfunctional – just as I have been predicting and reporting for eight long years.
GDP used to stand for “Gross Domestic Product”– meaning everything produced, bought and sold, the entire output of the U.S. economy. But from now on the meaning of GDP under the policies of Obama and Hillary should be revised to “Gross Domestic Poverty.”
Because it’s now a proven fact that liberal ideas like big government, big taxes, big regulations, big spending, big entitlements, big debt and free healthcare only create BIG POVERTY.
Sadly, this disastrous new economic news is small compared to the big picture…
Barack Obama is the only president in the history of America to preside over 7 straight years of GDP growth under 3%.
2016 is now guaranteed to be the 8th straight year with GDP under 3%. Obama will become the only president in America’s history to ever produce eight straight years of under 3% GDP. Even pathetic loser Herbert Hoover enjoyed one year with GDP over 3%. Yes, Obama is worse than Hoover.
The longest previous streak of under 3% GDP in the history of America was four years (1930 to 1933), only during the depths of the Great Depression.
From 1790 to 2000, America’s economy averaged GDP growth of 3.79%. Obama’s eight years are on pace to average GDP of 1.55% – substantially less than half of our country’s average economic growth for 210 years.
How do we turn this around and improve productivity and prosperity? Only through business creation and growth. But more tragic facts…
We’re headed in the opposite direction under Obama and Hillary’s policies. For the first time in American history, more businesses are closing each day than are being created. Business startups have crawled to a standstill.
Obama and Hillary’s destructive socialist policies are strangling, suffocating and drowning the middle class. Ironically Obama and Hillary are hurting everyone- including black Americans, Hispanics, Asians, women, and gays. No one is safe or immune from their ignorant ideas.
The fact is this obsession with race and diversity sounds nice in the Ivy-covered walls of a fancy university…or inside government buildings where people get obscene salaries and pensions and “retention reward bonuses” just for showing up for work…or in high schools where students expect “participation medals”…or at Hillary campaign events where few actually work…
But in the real world an obsession with race and diversity destroys the economy and kills middle class jobs. The proof is in. These are facts.
When Hillary brings up race and calls Donald Trump a racist or “KKK” it’s just an attempt to change the subject away from the facts of the economy. She wants to distract you. The reality is liberal policies aimed at diversity, fairness and racial equality are racist- towards everyone. We are all being driven into “shared misery.”
So from now on when Hillary shouts “Trump is KKK”, it’s time for Trump to shout back “Hillary is GDP- standing for Gross Domestic Poverty.”
