Both sides of my family were self working 'truck'

Both sides of my family were self working
'truck' farms. Raised food for subsistence
and then go in town to sell extra food from
a pick up truck.
One grandmother had the best eggs in that county.
The other grandfather cleared 30 acres with 2 horses
and dynamite.
Oh at one point he had a half acre of strawberries.
Picked by hand bent over of course.
Both raised 4 children. totally honest hard working]
people.
Both had chickens, pigs, horses, and milk cows.
And of course family dogs and cats living outdoors.
Us grand kids living in towns were scared of that much work.
