Facebook Q2 2016 Earnings: Titbits You May Have Missed
1. Facebook Q2 2016 earnings grew 186% YoY to $2.05Bil or $0.71 per share, helped by mobile advertising revenue growth. Revenue up 59% YoY to $6.43Bil.
2. Daily active users for June grew 17% from last year to 1.13Bil on average. Over the past year, $FB said it added over 200MM people using Facebook on a monthly basis.
3. In 2Q16, the company launched 360 photos. The company is making good progress on core services within the Facebook app like search.
4. $FB announced the first successful flight of Aquila that will beam Internet to remote places in 2Q16.
