Nice spin. He didn't want to admit that the polls were running against his client.
He should have acknowledged...reality, and then deftly segued into what his client was going to do to change those poll numbers.
Claiming this guy is the 'gold standard' and it's amateur hour for everyone else is absurd.
I was an outside B2B salesman and if I pulled the kind of smart-ass dance this prick did, I'd be out on my ass with no sale.
Claiming that you 'know what it is' and that I don't is certainly not evident from the reactions to the incident.
