My point is that this video ISN'T for their demographic. Soccer moms are not going to spend $10 for a bag of jerky, that's my point. Not that there are more than one demo for a product. That's not my point.
You cannot start out trying to be all things to all customers, you don't build an identity that way. You can't be "Hangover Joe" with the branding they have and then think PTA moms or seniors are going to buy their products.
Of course they can, but you are not going to build brand identity marketing to PTA moms or grandmothers and also try to market to young people who will spend $10 on a bag of jerky or who drink enough to need a hangover recovery drink.
That's a big difference than what you wrote. Sure you can market to college students, young professionals, and a little older than that. That's three different demos but still not the retirement age group.
