Let me preface this post by saying I'm an investor in this company and don't plan on selling any of the stock any time soon.
I watched the new animated jerky video a number of times. I know people get sensitive about constructive feedback, but here goes.....
When I think of the HJOE brand, I think of brash, trailblazing, take no prisoners innovators. Look at Joe himself, he's the Ron Jeremy of snacks! Smash mouth kind of guy, right? All good. Awesome, in fact.
But when I saw that animated video, I thought of soccer moms, grandmas and it made me want to take a nap.
It was painful to watch. It was slow, visually stale and boring, and the banjo music? Really? Are you selling laxatives or a unique jerky experience?
It did everything BUT made me think this was a unique, outstanding, new innovation in the jerky industry.
I'm sure they will improve in the future but they missed the mark on this one.
