Global and Chinese Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Industry Report, 2014-2017
M2 - Fri Aug 07, 3:20AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/hcqp7x/global_and) has announced the addition of the "Global and Chinese Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Industry Report, 2014-2017" report to their offering. China's Growth in the Demand for Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Is Forecast to Stand at Over 20% in 2015-2020 In recent years, driven by energy conservation and emissions reduction and improvement of fuel efficiency, auto industry has been required to develop towards an increasingly lightweight trend. A great upsurge in substitution of aluminum alloy automotive sheet for the traditional sheet materials like steel products has been gradually on the rise. At present, automotive covering parts including engine hood and luggage-boot lid mostly adopt aluminum sheets. Meanwhile, more and more auto markers developed all-aluminum car bodies and applied then in, say, Audi A2 / A8 R8, Range Rover, BMW Z8, Jaguar XJ/XK/XE, Tesla Model S, Ford F-150, Honda NSX, etc. To meet the increasing market demand, some international aluminum giants such as Novelis, Kobe Steel, Constellium, Aleris, and ALCOA have expanded the production of aluminum alloy automotive sheet and are involved in auto markers' development of aluminum alloy car body. By contrast, restricted by high threshold in technological development, China has presented a gap in production of aluminum alloy automotive sheet, especially that for car body. At the end of 2009, however, Southwest Aluminum constructed the first car body aluminum alloy sheet production line in China, and achieved small-batch trial production. Nevertheless, no domestic company can systematically grasp the technologies for mass producing aluminum alloy automotive sheet, let alone the application in car body with the independent brands. China, though the world's largest car producer, has a substantial gap with international markets in aluminum alloy automotive sheet, a situation that reflects that the country has a great market potential. In addition, China required that by 2020 the average fuel consumption will fall to 5.0 liters / 100 km, which will further stimulate the growth of its aluminum alloy automotive sheet market. Key Topics Covered - Overview of Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet - Development of Global Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Industry - Development of China Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Industry - Major Global Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Manufacturers - Key Chinese Aluminum Alloy Automotive Sheet Manufacturers - Summary and Forecast Companies Mentioned - ALCOA - Aleris - China Zhongwang - Constellium - Jiangsu Alcha Aluminum - Jiangsu CAIFA Aluminum - Kobe Steel - Mingtai Aluminum Industry - Norsk Hydro - Northeast Light Alloy - Novelis - Southwest Aluminum (Group) - UACJ - Weifang Sanyuan Aluminum For more information visit http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/hcqp7x/global_and

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/rd273m/aerospace) has announced the addition of the "Aerospace Materials Market by Type, by Aircraft Type - Global Trends and Forecast to 2019" report to their offering. Global aerospace materials market is projected to register a CAGR of more than 6.6% between 2014 and 2019 to reach $18.5 billion in terms of value. Aerospace materials are used for building various parts of the aircrafts. Various materials such as aluminum alloys, steel alloys, titanium alloy, super alloys and composite materials are used for building aircrafts. Aluminum alloys accounts for nearly 50.0% of the market in terms of the volume, however it represents only around 25.0% of the market in terms of the value. Demand for aluminum alloys is expected to remain flat between 2014 and 2019, but increasing usage of the composite materials and titanium alloys in the new generation of the aircrafts is expected to surge the demand for these materials in the near future. Major advantage of using composite materials and titanium alloys is the light weight of these materials and comparative strength of these materials to the traditionally used metals such as aluminum and steel alloys. Composites enable aerospace manufacturers to produce structural components to substitute conventional metal solutions. Shorter cycles for the manufacture of components, corrosion resistance and superior performance at elevated temperatures are some of the major advantages offered by these new aerospace materials. In aerospace materials market, large numbers of the raw material suppliers are active in the market. The degree of forward integration is also low. However, presence of patented technology with some major suppliers required in specific aerospace application boosts ups the bargaining power of supplier. Asia-Pacific is projected to witness high growth rate during the forecast period (2014-2019). The aerospace materials market in Europe and North America is consolidated, whereas the market in Asia-Pacific has a fragmented structure, where China and Japan alone has around number of aerospace material suppliers, these numbers are expected to increase due to the large number of mergers and acquisition and expansion by some major players taking place in the region, rivalry in the aerospace industry is expected to reduce during the forecast period.
