Just a new thought on all of this. Even if we make the assumption that Bret does rightfully own the patents in question, in the very least he has used company personnel and resources as an avenue to test and promote something that he would stand to make huge personal gains on while personally controlling what, if any gain shareholders derive from these technologies.
