Now a different tack.
First hand knowledge here, by virtue of investing directly with the party to whom this occurred. That party having built a plant in China and having multiple iron clad patents, set up an entire factory replete with production line.
The product was being sold well and running profitably. As soon as the government entity responsible for the plant reported that the products could be used on submarines to greatly enhance performance, the company was immediately nationalized and over 16 million US dollars was was lost.
He and other Americans there were ousted, period. A lawsuit was made and won in the international court but the payments have never been made for over 30 years.
I hope GC sees this and if he wants, can private email me for full disclosure.
I am sure though that Nick and Perk have seen much worse. The Chinese do not just move the goal post, they move the game to another town during halftime and win by default.
Your worst business nightmare is 'a good day' in that area of the world.
I will feel reassured if GC ends up putting out 3 to 4 PRs that say we are close to signing. Then I will know he is being made jerked around by the Chinese and not letting go of that crucial Coates holding America "non exclusive".
At that time one should best hope that at .0001 he still grudgingly holds out.
I want the Chinese to feel that he is insane and that the majority of his investors feel the same way.... I won't though. I will root for him to be even more obstinate. Oh, and also for Gregory to be the same.
We will se how good his two advisors are. Hope they have balls as big as GC's!!! I like the product and the potential riches but the test is coming.
