I was looking at it from an overall company success standpoint and you are looking at it strictly from a personal gain standpoint. Yes, big difference. But being involved with a large company requires a team approach, I hope that's something you would incorporate if you're approved.
BTW, customers who buy the product (not investors) won't know or care about a "stop sign" or case status. Customers buy the product to get rid of a hangover or just because they like it. That's it.
When I bought Monster, Mountain Dew, bottled water, or Pop Tarts, I had no clue about what's going on with the business of the company nor did I care, I only bought the product because I liked it, not because it has good legal standing.
Lastly, at any time, sales always DO count. If you get approved to be a distributor, are you not going to focus on sales if they still have a stop sign and/or a pending court case? Or does that just apply to other people and not you?
Just going by your words from your post (below).
"The hell with the sales right now while it's got a stop sign and a pending court case"
Good luck.
