Is Allergan a smart buy? Allergan easily surpassed the earnings estimate of $3.28. Though up 12% sequentially, the earnings were down 8.7% from 2Q15. During the quarter the company also completed the $40.5billion sale of its generic drug business to Teva Pharmaceutical. Added to this billionaire Carl Icahn had taken a big position in Allergan. I want to invest in growth. So you think it’s time to buy Allergan stock
