Steve....Your math is fine.....I think your P/E maybe rather conservative...20 looks great. I just looked around at some Lge Caps and it's pretty wild with variance...$GOOG = 30.6 $AMBA=33.4 RBC Bearings $ROLL=26.7 $FB=63.7
It appears "older" more established have a far lower P/E....!!!!.....However averages do look at very good in 20's to low 30's....But Things are changing and the way people look at them are changing quickly as well...Look at Face Book with P/E of over 60...!!!!...Yet No one blinks an eye...!!!!...I would think 20-40 would not be viewed as extreme now days.
Remember typically "you" would look at a lower P/E as a more Solid and Secure Firm......However if the P/E is "wild", (40 or 50), that might correlate to merely Huge money coming in......Or .....a New Player in a Large Commerce division of business........Exiting Stuff...Should be Quite The Ride.....!!!!!
