Western Gas Equity Partners, LP (NYSE: WGP) (the "Partnership"
today announced that Western Gas Resources, Inc. ("Western Gas Resources", a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, priced a previously announced underwritten offering of 12,500,000 common units representing limited partner interests. Total gross proceeds to Western Gas Resources from the offering (before the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses) will be approximately $481 million. Western Gas Resources has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,875,000 additional common units. The offering is expected to settle and close on June 17, 2016, subject to customary closing conditions.
