CHEAPTICKETS.COM’S TOP MOUNTAIN DESTINATIONS FOR OFF-SEASON TRAVEL Editors scoured the country and analyzed CheapTickets.com data to find popular ski destinations that offer some of the greatest off-season savings, then narrowed those down to the top 10 on this listed based on their region as well as their selection of summer and fall activities.

Overall, Colorado dominates the list, occupying four of the 10 spots, but the East and West Coast are also well-represented with destinations like Stowe, Vt. and Snowshoe, W.Va., as well as Mammoth Lakes, Calif. and Truckee, Calif. The greatest savings can be found in Park City, Utah, where travelers opting for a trip in the late summer or early fall can save, on average, over 50 percent as compared to peak season.
