Couldn't really say with any certainty....might be years, might be months, who knows. I gave up relying on the prognostications & forecast of 'analysts' years ago. Just like us, how could 'they' possibly even know with any certainty what's 'really' going on behind the ultra-stealth high security doors at Apple or any of their competitors. Personally, from the mountains of data I've read over the last few years, I'd be surprised if it didn't come sooner, rather than later...but then, that's what I thought about the multi-market commercialization of QDots 8-years ago. We'll see, there's definitely a whole lot of money & brainpower going into making this a reality. The problem with making informed judgments in the tech sector (as I see it) for us as investors (in general) , is that commercial interests are quick to point out the lucrative potential & aspects of a given tech , but they aren't nearly as transparent about what technical obstacles lay in the path of realizing success....except when they occasionally trumpet their success at having overcome one of these obstacles , that we as investors never knew existed until now.
