Mexus Gold US: Santa Elena Mine Update
GlobeNewswire - Tue May 31, 3:00AM CDT
Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG) ("Mexus" or the "Company"

announced that work on the Santa Elena mine is progressing as planned. On My 24, representatives from MarMar holdings and Mexus (JV members) held a meeting and adopted a mining plan with numerous items being discussed and agreed upon. Out of this meeting came the decision to obtain a blasting permit in the name of the JV as opposed to using a blasting contractor. The parties can control costs and manage the process more efficiently than using an outside vendor. It will take 4 to 6 weeks to obtain this blasting permit allowing time for our partner to bring in additional equipment. In the end, this property will be brought into full production faster and much larger than first anticipated.

Mexus begins work on its open heap leach pad with all permits in hand

Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG) ("Mexus" or the "Company"

announced today that the environmental and mining permits are complete and work has begun on the area that will become Mexus' open pit heap leach mine. An area 300 meters by 100 meters is being cleared and leveled for the pad. (See Attached Photos) Mexus intends to open pit the shear zone where the Julio high grade quartz vein faulted to the west as identified by Director of Operations Cesar Lemas. The shear zone and the Julio quartz vein will be mined simultaneously with strict grade control. The shear zone ore has graded 1 to 5 grams per ton with the Julio assays running much higher and includes visible gold. Mexus believes that mining the Julio quartz vein from the surface along with the shear zone makes the most sense. The shear zone material will be crushed to 3/4" minus then placed on the leach pad. The Julio high grade will go straight to Mexus' crusher ball mill gravity recovery plant. The tailings from the gravity recovery plant will also be placed on the heap.

announced today that Argonaut Gold notified the company that it will not exercise their option at the Julio/Santa Elena property. Argonaut explained that the uncertainty with the price of gold is challenging exploration budgets. This, along with the obligations of $5,000,000 in drilling and mapping, $950,000 payable to Mexus to continue the JV, and a 20% fully carried contract were all factors in their decision . To date it is estimated that Argonaut has spent upwards of $500,000 in drilling, mapping and other associated costs. They also added that in better economic times the company would have exercised the JV option.

Mexus Gold US Julio/Santa Elena Update
GlobeNewswire - Mon Sep 14, 5:30AM CDT
Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG) ("Mexus" or the "Company"

, Mexus president Paul Thompson recently returned from Caborca, Sonora State, Mexico where he met with Julio Baltazar, Vice President of Mexus Gold Mining SA de CV. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Baltazar discussed the Santa Elena/Julio project and reviewed the equipment currently sitting idle on the property. Both are extremely happy with the progress at the Julio/Santa Elena property. A general valuation was made and the equipment was determined to be worth approximately $500,000. The recent agreement with Argonaut Gold (TSE:AR) has eliminated the need for the production equipment used in mining and thus it was decided that liquidation would be the best option. Equipment needed for exploration will be retained. The much needed cash infusion will be used to further Mexus' other projects and properties.

Mexus Gold US Signs Option/Joint Venture Agreement
GlobeNewswire - Mon Jul 13, 8:30AM CDT
Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG) ("Mexus" or the "Company"

announced today that after months of negotiating with several mining companies an agreement has been reached. President Paul Thompson is proud to announce that Mexus has signed an option/joint venture agreement with Minera Real del Oro S.A. de C.V., a Mexican corporation, which is wholly owned by Argonaut Gold Inc. (TSE:AR). Argonaut has the knowledge and experience along with the necessary capital to plan, drill, and bring the Julio/Martha Elena project into production. Mexus believes that Argonaut is the best fit for this project. Mr. Thompson added, "For approximately three years, Mexus performed geology, mapping, and exploration work on the property along with limited drilling. Within the property there are extensive vein systems and evidence for several large flat-lying shear zones believed to be related to thrust faulting. Work by Mexus have confirmed that both the veins and shears host multi-gram per tonne gold and silver values. Mexus has drill results which show a high grade, multi vein system throughout the property. Multiple target areas have been identified on the property and Argonaut is currently conducting geologic mapping and sampling in anticipation of an aggressive drill program over the next several months. Adequate work was completed for Mexus to realize that this project was too big for us and needed an experienced mining company such as Argonaut Gold. We are excited about the partnership and look forward to seeing Argonaut drill and ultimately bring this property to production."

Mexus Gold US (OTCQB:MXSG) ("Mexus" or the "Company"

confirmed today that the terms of the signed contract between First Pursuit Silver de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. (FPV) and Mexus have not been met. The company is reviewing all options with legal counsel and will update shareholders as the matter progresses. CEO Paul Thompson added, "Obviously we are disappointed that the purchaser has failed to meet their contractual obligation as we had hoped to use these funds to further our development at the Julio/Santa Elena property. Fortunately, we have received numerous offers to JV the Julio/Santa Elena. These offers were reviewed but frankly we were hoping to move forward alone with the proceeds from First Pursuit. Without these funds our plan is to aggressively seek out a joint venture for our flagship property. I want our shareholders to understand that this won't be a fire sale. We will negotiate a deal that is in the best interest of the company and shareholders. I've been speaking to multiple companies and would like to have a deal wrapped up sooner than later."
