You might be asking, "When is Joey68 going to use AVXL again in an example??"

Well... you got your wish.. cause Im doing it right now!

Has anyone kept tabs on AVXL for the past 2 days? Man were they doing great! PPS was going up up up and away.. investors were YAHOOOOING! with 'to da moons!' and all that mumbo jumbo.. and then..

crasssshhhhh.. fell from $7.49 to $3.51 in TWO DAYS!

"Ok, so Joey68.. what the heck does this have to do with spectrascience???"

stick with me here. AVXL crashed because they just released a PR two days ago with less than stellar news. Apparently their drug isnt working as investors hoped.

So, whats my point?

My point is that two variables tend to affect stock price the most:

1. The release of news
and
2. The not release of news (improper english, im simply entertaining my self)

AVXL price dropped not because of a lack of news. It dropped because a PR wasnt as great.

Comparing this to SCIE... SCIE's price is falling slightly (although still a higher low). Notice though that the share price hasnt fallen because of a PR. Its falling because investors are waiting for news of sales.

I would rather the price drop during SILENT times than getting a PR which causes the price to fall. So, to conclude this crazy post, as we can see, a drop in share price can be justified through a PR, but also with a lack of a PR. Investors are very fickle. If they read a bad PR, they sell. But if they dont hear from the company for a while... they also tend to sell out of fear. So, as the price continues around these levels, just remember we have not recieved a bad PR justifying this share price; which means once we get a good PR... the price should correct itself and spike dramatically.
