My response to the jerk on SA who consistently rep

My response to the jerk on SA who consistently repeats misinformation which various of us from here have refuted. He claims that the short half-life of Brilacidin is not an advantage (it is -- in the event of drug interactions or allergies, it clears out of the system much more quickly, 13-16 hours as opposed to 147-393 hours for other antibiotics). He also says incorrectly that the short half-life is the basis for the company's statement that Brilacidin is much less likely to create resistant bacteria -- but that is not at all the reason they give. Half-life has nothing at all to do with it. Here's my response:

Misrepresenting the reason for the statements that Brilacidin is unlikely to create resistant bacteria means either that 1) You have not researched this drug adequately to be making the kind of statements you have been making, which are for the most part inaccurate, or 2) you are willfully misrepresenting this information.
