Convention Controversy 'Hurts the Democrats Greatly'
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi joined Bill Hemmer on "America's Election HQ" to react to the news that Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not preside over the DNC.
Wasserman Schultz was ousted from her convention role after leaked emails revealed an apparent anti-Bernie Sanders bias in her operation, which Bondi said just reinforces Donald Trump's claim that "the system is rigged."
Bondi explained that Wasserman Schultz wasn't supposed to take a side, but she - and much of the Democratic Party establishment - showed a clear bias toward Hillary Clinton during the primary.
Bondi said the party decided to pull Wasserman Schultz from the convention entirely, instead of risk having her booed by the left-leaning members of the party.
"Lose-lose for them, all the way around. It hurts the Democrats greatly."
