Lets see you have to be a Master Mason to be Scottish Rite and you have to be a Scottish Rite or York Rite to be involved with the Shriner. Reagan was involved with the Shriner's. He received a honorary 32 degree Scottish Rite degree in the Oval Office on 2/11/88. It is 29 lessons on moral and spiritual enlightenment past the 3 given as a master. Though there isn't anything higher than the 3rd degree.
