Here's my response as posted on the "other" board.

The company has access to enough funding to easily carry through the next 12 months (maybe 18) so why does it "seem" to you that "the company will need to partner within the next 2 or 3 months"?
There probably are (as you say) "other financial partners available" but since we don't currently need a "financial partner" the point is moot.
The only "partnership" we are currently interested in is a drug development "partnership" with a Big Pharma. That "partnership" will result in all the funding we may need to accelerate our drug development efforts across multiple fronts. And we will agree to that "partnership" when the time is right.

While B is on hold wondering if the materials they bought for p3 trial expires at all? Can't decide if it was good to delay or not. Also, I would think there are other financial partners available at this point. Seems the company will need to partner with next 2 or 3 months. - DesireToLearn
