In my opinion and to use a metaphor to illustrate

In it's raw state, you know it has value.
However, once a diamond has been properly cut and polished to an ascetically pleasing state, the value of that raw diamond you pulled out of the ground goes goes up substantially.....
I'm willing to bet NTEK has had offers, buyouts, partnerships offers of financing, etc. but at the companies current state of develop none of those offers would be on terms favorable enough for NTEK to accept. They have no leverage.
Those partnerships or financing offers could put unacceptable restrictions on NTEKS ability to grow or develop market share. IE........Samsung will make a deal or partner with you but you have to give us exclusivity on the technology and not share it with our competition......like ..Apple
Also, some of those offers could just be a way for the competition to take the little start up company NTEK out of the picture so the they can move their inferior product offerings forward.
The probably just haven't gotten the right offer yet.
I think NTEK is in the process of cutting and polishing the diamond to reflect the true value of the company.
Once they do that, I think they will have the leverage to get much better terms on partnerships, financing and even buyout possibilities if that's the course they want to take.
I also think that is how shareholders will finally get a return on their investment.
