They have to put those caveats in. SEC and all ya know (even if SEC doesn't bother enforcing its other laws). No one wants another Rosen-type action. All companies with any common sense put those caveats in their press releases.
Sure, people can criticize the decision to PR it. But those who understand what CTIX's drugs are aimed at understand that the company is basically saying "here's the confirmation that Brilacidin is a powerful anti-inflammatory." They're telling the astute that Bril-OM works too.
