What's bad is that nobody watching PTOI started by being at others' throats. PTOI's skeptics started out by warning investors that PTOI was a scam. The investors took it personally and retaliated because they felt the skeptics were damaging their investment. After a while, the skeptics started chiding the investors.
...meanwhile Mr. Bordynuik, the man who swindled everyone for those who remember, is off spending his newly found millions of dollars while longs and skeptics keep battling each other.
As I've learned from another scam where I was told I was "a thousand times worse" than the person who actually swindled that investor, at this point investors won't even be mad at Mr. Bordynuik even when they figure out they've been defrauded...they'll still be more angry at the skeptics because they've permanently conflated the skeptics with their losses...and of course the chiding doesn't help either.
