No one so loosely throws around the word 'criminal' as do conservatives.
One would think that self-described Constitooooshun lovers would have a passing familiarity with the actual rules of law, prosecution, evidence, proof, conviction and such.
Guess those rules do not apply to the political opposition. They should.
Let William Roper stand in for today's GOP, Trent Gowdy in particular, and let Sir Thomas Moore stand in for classical liberalism, actual Constitutional protections and todays Dems.

This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man's laws, not God's! And if you cut them down, and you're just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake!
