Think about it this way.

If JNJ is the BigPharma working on using Brilacidin against biofilm's, they already know that it works against ABSSSI, so...

If Brilacidin is working for the biofilm indication, and
If Brilacidin works in the Phase 2 against OM, and
If Brilacidin works in the Phase 2 against UP, then
JNJ will probably not wait for the Phase 3 ABSSSI trials before making a deal for the entire Brilacidin platform.

Whoever the BigPharma that is working on the biofilm application, has the inside track on Brilacidin because they know whether or not it is working against biofilms. However, regardless of the biofilm results, if it works as expected in the OM and UP phase 2 trials, then the platform will have been proved out thru phase 2 against three very lucrative indications. That puts CTIX in a VERY strong negotiating position for the Brilacidin platform, particularly with regard to the BigPharma who is doing the work on the biofilm indication.
