How can one not look at it from both perspectives,

Since the two things go hand in hand. Progress in the form of
market penetration,sales,distributions,new products,and new technologies
all lead to the bottom line. That then leads to stock valuation-appreciation. They
are mutually dependent on one another. That is why the stop sign and
the lack of filing has stalled the perceived progress of the company. Once
that gets lifted and the veil is shown, the price will reflect the achievements.
You can't seperate the two, they are joined at the hip.
