Good article, sox, thanks for finding that. I hope that if preliminary results of Bril-UP are good, they'll work on a foam formulation.
Every dissolve an aspirin (salicylic acid) on your tongue? Notice that burning feeling? Imagine having a solution of THAT as the treatment for UP. Ugh. Brilacidin, with its anti-inflammatory properties, would seem to be a much more comfortable treatment. If "comfortable" is the right term to use for such an unpleasant mode of local administration.
