George has stated that his CSRV valve system is adaptable to virtually any piston engine. His initial market target was to supply the oil and gas industry with gen sets that run on flare off gas and a small amount of diesel for lubrication. All he needed was the code from Cummins to complete work on the engine computer to control the fuel mixture. Turned out that the tech from Cummins who was to do this work did not have the "key" to the program. There are some unanswered questions on this one and no updates from GC. To my knowledge, this project remains on the to-be-completed list. However, the Coates/Cummins relationship still remains and IMO, the odds that a business relationship will be struck between the two companies remains high.

George is going to any and all engine manufacturers in China looking for a business partner. I believe Jack Perkowski (a.k.a. Mr. China) probably negotiated the China delegation visit to the Coates D&R HQ in VA since this is his role as I understand it. If a contract becomes the reality, no doubt Mr. Perkowski will be mentioned in that PR.

As more than a few have said on this media, George will never give up. He has directed his focus on the big deals. (motorcycles and racing engine development put on hold). If he lands a locomotive production contract with China it will be huge and a great beginning. CMEC is the largest locomotive train producer in the world and is already tooled for immediate production. Here's hoping the July 12 visit brings success.
