Borrowing costs for PTOI at InteractiveBrokers are

On the other hand, FINRA says there are only 5,649 shares of PTOI short, about $170 worth. Yes I know a number of longs have said that FINRA numbers are faked and say that much of the trading is also fake to manipulate those numbers...and have introduced their own estimate of 30M shares being short. Obviously people need to choose whom to believe. That 20% for borrowing costs doesn't really indicate that PTOI shares to short are in extremely high demand so that would point to FINRA being more accurate.
In other news, maybe about four weeks until the selling of the shares issued by PTOI as a settlement for their accounting fraud should end. While it's only about $400/day of selling, when it stops it should make the trading much lighter and those who paint the ask will probably find their paints more effective. Historically, the 'strong hands' have moved upward behind the paints with substantial bid support. PTOI shareholders may get a pop in their shares for that reason.
