So there's your 'lab experience' on the matter.
Nobody just 'goes home' from the military. You serve your enlistment, period. Additionally, you follow orders.
Lastly, the younger you are the less 'baggage' you carry RE these 'issues. Live and let live is the new/old sanity.
DID these militaries become less effective?
